EdwardWARD(Owen) Lesley, Ian and Family would like to thank all family and friends who attended Owen's funeral. The messages of love and support, cards, floral tributes and generous donations to "Help for Heroes" were much appreciated. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at L.R.I. and L.G.H. Also Forest Road Surgery, Social Service Care Team, especially Tracey and Sean, District Nurses Terri and Louise. Special thanks also to the staff at Charnwood Hall Nursing Home for their care and kindness. Thanks also to the Rev. Gill Turner Callis and Betty Cawdell for a wonderful service, The Royal British Legion Clifton Branch, Notts, who attended to honour Owen, their President and lay a poppy wreath. Also to the author Michael Kendrick for a moving tribute to Owen's naval service during World war 2 and reading a poem written by Owen called "Remembrance". Also to the staff at Loughborough and District Funeral Directors for their expert help, care, kindness and attention to detail at this very sad time.
